Overview

Wedding Camera is a disposable-camera-style iOS app created for a private wedding event. It is not a commercial product and is not available on the App Store. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and who can access it.

What We Collect

• Your name — entered once at the start to label your photos in the shared album.
• Photos you take — JPEG images captured through the app's camera.

The app does not collect your device ID, location, contacts, email address, or any other personal information.

How Your Data Is Used

Your name and photos are used solely to organise the wedding photo album. Photos are stored under your name so the couple can identify who took each shot. Your data is never used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to this wedding.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Photos are uploaded to a private Amazon S3 bucket accessible only to the couple. The bucket is not public. Uploads use short-lived pre-signed URLs generated server-side — your photos go directly from your phone to the bucket with no third party handling them in transit.

Photos are also saved to your iPhone's Camera Roll. That copy stays on your device and is entirely under your control.

Who Has Access

Only the couple and anyone they explicitly share the album with can view the photos. No third party has access to the storage bucket.

Data Retention

Photos will be kept for as long as the couple wishes to retain their wedding memories. If you would like your photos removed, contact the couple directly and they will delete them from the album.

Camera Permission

The app requests access to your iPhone's camera to take photos. This permission is used only while you are actively using the app. Images are not shared with any party other than the couple's private album.

Children

This app is intended for adult wedding guests. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

Because this app is built for a single event, this policy is not expected to change. If it does, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
